About Peter Bloom

Peter Bloom is a lawyer with over 30 years of experience. He helps businesses with contracts, taxes, corporate law, and employment issues. He also handles business transactions and financial deals.

Peter knows family businesses well. He worked in his family’s restaurant and bar supply company. This gave him real experience with their unique challenges. He also co-authored Seeing the Blind Spot, a book that helps professionals support family businesses.

Peter graduated magna cum laude from Duke University. He earned law degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Connecticut. In his free time, he enjoys blues music and served on the Board of the D.C. Blues Society. He also supports the United States Navy Memorial in Washington, D.C., honoring his family’s military history.
